How is IP handled?

Scope of Work & Activities

Intellectual Property (IP) typically remains with the client. TACs do not claim ownership of the solutions developed during an Interactive Visit.

However, the specific IP terms can be outlined in the Statement of Work if necessary. TACs often provide deliverables under a "fee-for-service" model, which naturally assigns IP to the client. If any background IP from the TAC is used, licensing terms should be clarified upfront.

The program promotes innovation while protecting the SME's right to commercialize outcomes.
