What is a Strategic Intervention?

Program Overview

A Strategic Intervention is an expanded version of an Interactive Visit, offering 55 hours of collaborative support.

It requires participation from at least two TACs or a TAC and another college research centre to address complex or multi-disciplinary challenges.

This format is ideal for projects needing diverse expertise, such as combining product development with market research or advanced testing.

Strategic Interventions are only available to firms that are already NRC IRAP clients with an assigned Industrial Technology Advisor (ITA).

These projects are more intensive and are designed to generate significant business value for participating SMEs.

The collaborative aspect ensures the firm benefits from specialized skills across multiple institutions.
