The $250 is intended to cover indirect costs and ensure the SME is committed to completing the project.
The low fee lowers financial barriers while encouraging meaningful engagement from the client.
TACs do not set this fee, it is standardized across the program. The fee is non-refundable once the Visit is approved and work has started.
